Moving Past the 3-ball Cascade

Many jugglers carry on through life being content with having a clean 3 ball rotation and a few polished variations. But determined individuals consistently attempt to learn new patterns and try to push their limits. 4 and 5 ball juggling aside, one of the next steps many jugglers take forward is learning Mill's Mess.

To learn Mill's Mess, the half shower needs to be learned and practiced from both hands. There are plenty of resources to learn it online, so I'll only say what I have noticed helps people to master it, and that is to pay attention to the "U-ball" and how it's motion is different from the other two. The only way to learn this is to memorize the steps and get a move on the many hours of practice that perfecting it will take.

Although Mill's Mess is a good goal for some advanced beginners, there are a lot of 3-ball tricks that can be learned.
